never go to a restaurant on opening night

Well, initially, we were sat down pretty immediately. When we sat down, we waited about 3-5minutes to be noticed by a girl who asked, "has anyone helped you yet?" From there, she went to grab who our server would be. A guy. That was fine. In fact, most male servers are usually really attentive to details. He took our order immediately, repeated it, and went on with his business. By this time, we had spent about 20minutes inside the restaurant.... 30minutes later we were still waiting for our meals, while three other tables who were sat after us had rec'd their meals.

So, I went to the manager. I told him, "i understand that this is opening night and you are busy, but we have been at the restaurant for over 40minutes and still had not rec'd food, while three other tables after us have." The "manager" said, "no no that's not an excuse, that's not fair, let me take care of it..." So, he did. Or tried to. He came back and said, "we are super busy, it's opening night, the kitchen is backed up." Ok....... So, they rushed our food to us... only when it was rushed.... My partner's burger was not what he ordered, my fries were cold, and the food was certainly not fresh.... If the food is rushed, IT SHOULD BE HOT OFF THE GRILL, OUT THE OVEN, WHATEVER. So, his burger was remade... and came out within less than 5minutes...

A QUARTER POUNDER? NO....

They did comp our ticket, and gave us complimentary meal tickets worth up to $10. Ok, sure... that's nice.

But I'm not sure we even enjoyed our burgers enough to return to this new location.

Unfortunately, we have not the opportunity to enjoy th original location.

I did leave a $1 tip though for the "effort."

Oh, I guess I should reveal the restaurant and its location.

GRINDHOUSE MIDTOWN

I'll wait another few months to try this place again.

We will try to make it to the Edgewood location though.
Unfortunately, we did not try the original restaurant prior to going to this second location.
Yelp's reviews show 4/5 stars of 167reviews.

The only downfall is... it is open until 4pm. Darn.

This was a pretty cool Sushi Place inside of Mega Mart. The sushis are sat on rotational belts.
Each plate is a certain price as you see in the following pictures.

Shiro Maguro! White Tuna. It was pretty good for being on a rotating belt. They make it fresh and put it on the belt.
You gotta watch them closely to see which ones are the freshest pieces.

This was sooo yummy. It's beef nigiri... haha.

Can't have sushi without Ginger & Wasabi

My favorite! Fresh Salmon (Sake). This is/was melt in your moufffff, which is what it should be ;)

Wakame (Seaweed) Salad

Grilled Seabass, sitting on a heated clay pot (as seen below, next picture)
Most expensive thing we had ($15). It was nommz.

Some kinda fried roll... I usually don't like fried rolls, but I gave it a shot.
Decent, not the best thing we had.

I'm not sure what fish this is... A white one (duh). Flounder (Hirame?) maybe?

This is the pricing system. Clever, I think.

Huy's Banh Mi, in Norcross (Gwinnett County). Near the HK Supermarket, Jimmy Carter BLVD.
This in particular is a varietal sandwich (many different types of meat). It was nommz.
Comparable to Quoc Huong on Buford Hwy.

Thit Nuong (grilled Pork)

Look at the other varieties - sticky rice (Soy)

Banh Bao, Cha Gio, & more Soy.

Che! Vietnamese specialty desserts.

Look at that menu...

The Raku Restaurant had their lights enclosed, and lined with really pretty fabric.
